It’s been a while since I’ve visited Evergreen Brick Works. I wanted to check out the Evergreen Winter Village. So my family and I attended one weekday afternoon. It was a nice time to visit to avoid crowds. Yet I think there would likely be more retail and food vendors open had we gone at night or on a weekend.
When you’re not shopping, to keep warm at the Winter Village, you can snuggle in one of these chairs under a blankie, or get active and play ping pong.
The Evergreen Garden Market offers a nice selection of items for a single brand. For example, check out the variety for Summer Kitchen marinades and sauces, and Sarafino mustards below. I think they also offered at least 15 different kinds of Organic Fair chocolates.
There are many great non-food gift ideas as well. I have a thing for cute owls, so I couldn’t resist snapping a photo of these owl rattles.
I thought these sewing kits in a mason jar are a brilliant idea. I was also drawn in by the fabric of the pin cushions, which differs on each jar.
I’m going to have to remember to stop at this market throughout the year. It will surely be a place for me to shop for gifts for my American relatives, for next year’s Christmas gifts and for myself, of course!
We also enjoyed walking around the grounds. You don’t feel like you’re in the city when you’re at the Evergreen Brick Works. Have you been?
